Select create blank flowchart and title it: Nomenclature of Chemical Bonds. (1 point)
This title will also be the first "bubble" on your flowchart.
You must include the following categories: (1 point for correct layout)
Ionic Compounds
Binary Compounds (E.g. Metal + Non-Metal)
Ternary Compounds (E.g. Metal + Polyatomic Ion or Polyatomic + Non-Metal)
Acids - Binary Acids and Oxyacids
Covalent Compounds (we have not learned this yet, we will add it later)
For each category, list the steps for naming the compounds (1 point for each category = 5 points)
For each category, provide two examples - chemical name and chemical formula (1 point for each category = 5 points)
Submit your graphic organizer in the science 9 folder I have made for you in Google Drive
